Juan Cabrillo is a man after getting things done. The Oregon Files are a huge success, almost but not quite as good as Pitt.

Overall, if you want some light entertainment over a number of plotlines, this is a good book. He lives in Vermont. Unfortunately, it is heavy on tell rather than show and the non-stop action is frequently interrupted by speeches we would rather skip.

The crew of the Oregon barely has time to catch their breath before they find them selves in another battle. I look forward to the next edition. Almost too much action. When not embroiled in an intense, unflinching battle scene, the book delves even deeper into the character of Juan Cabrillo. I also enjoyed the other familiar Cussler characters showing up in order to save the day together.
